RwandAir reported an 80% revenue increase in 2023, reaching Rwf620.6 billion ($635 million), up from Rwf341 billion in 2022. This growth follows previous declines during the pandemic. CEO Yvonne Manzi Makolo attributes the success to booming tourism, cargo investments, and the expanding Kigali hub. The airline plans to double its fleet of 14 airplanes within five years and aims to enhance its connectivity across Africa.
