Odisha's Patnagarh has exported its first batch of dragon fruits to Dubai, weighing 4 quintals. Supported by APEDA and Palladium, these organically grown fruits were shipped on September 4, fetching ₹250-260 per kg internationally, compared to ₹120-160 domestically. Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo emphasized the initiative's potential to boost agricultural exports and plans to expand into Southeast Asian and European markets.
