Norway's government appeals to lift injunctions against three oil and gas fields due to environmental assessments.

Norway's government is appealing to lift injunctions against three oil and gas fields, Breidablikk, Yggdrasil, and Tyrving, after a lower court ruled their permits invalid due to insufficient environmental impact assessments. Greenpeace and Nature and Youth initiated the lawsuit. While the appeals court temporarily allowed operations to continue, a hearing will determine the future of the injunctions. Norway is concerned that restrictions could significantly impact its oil and gas industry revenue.
