The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nigeria has announced that corps members' monthly allowance of N33,000 will increase in line with the new minimum wage for civil servants, set at N70,000. NYSC Director General Yusha'u Ahmed emphasized self-development and skill acquisition during their service year. The NYSC is also partnering with organizations to offer loans and grants, ensuring corps members' safety in their postings.
