McDonald's India has introduced a multi-millet bun for its burgers, developed in collaboration with the CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute. The bun features five millets—Bajra, Ragi, Jowar, Proso, and Kodo—and will be available at all 400 outlets in West and South India. Directly sourced from 5,000 farmers, this initiative aims to enhance nutritional value while blending traditional ingredients with modern food technology.
