IEDC seeks buyers for 45 acres of former GM plant site for OneHealth Innovation District.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC) is actively seeking buyers for 45 acres of the former General Motors stamping plant site along the White River after a summer effort fell short. The land is intended for the OneHealth Innovation District, a collaboration with Elanco and Purdue University focused on health sciences. The IEDC purchased the full 91 acres in 2020 for $25.5 million and has invested $76 million in development. Sales discussions with multiple firms are ongoing.
