Air India has initiated the construction of a significant Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Bangalore International Airport, spanning 35 acres. This development is part of Air India's fleet expansion strategy and aims to enhance its maintenance capabilities. The facility, set to create over 1,200 jobs and support 200 SMEs, will feature advanced technology and a mega hangar for both wide-body and narrow-body aircraft, aiming for self-reliance by 2025.
