A recent poll by the Ichikowitz Family Foundation reveals that 60% of young Africans, aged 18 to 24, are considering emigration within five years due to rampant corruption, which they identify as a major barrier to their future. Conducted in 16 African countries, the 2024 African Youth Survey found that 55% believe the continent is on the wrong path. While 72% express concerns about foreign influence, 82% view China's impact positively, alongside 79% for the U.S.
