47-year-old woman killed, 3 injured in head-on collision; 19-year-old driver arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

A head-on collision in Olivehurst, Yuba County, on Monday morning resulted in the death of a 47-year-old woman and injuries to three others. The crash occurred when 19-year-old Alannah Eastern drove her Buick the wrong way on Highway 70, colliding with a Toyota SUV. Eastern, arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI, was also hospitalized. The California Highway Patrol is investigating and will forward findings to the Yuba County District Attorney.
