The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has launched a yearlong pilot with the Transit app, allowing users to track real-time bus and streetcar diversions. The app, used by over 300,000 riders, will indicate unplanned detours due to emergencies, weather, or construction, marking affected routes and stops. Users can also see next vehicle arrivals and provide feedback. This initiative aims to enhance customer experience by keeping passengers informed during disruptions.
