Top seeds Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek advanced to the US Open quarter-finals on Monday with decisive wins. Sinner defeated Tommy Paul 7-6(3), 7-6(5), 6-1 and will face former champion Daniil Medvedev next. Swiatek, the 2022 champion, triumphed over Liudmila Samsonova 6-4, 6-1, remaining unbeaten in the tournament. American Jessica Pegula also reached the quarter-finals without losing a set, defeating Diana Shnaider 6-4, 6-2.
