The Ghanaian National Lottery Authority (NLA) has licensed 15 new private lottery operators, increasing the total to 23. This move aims to enhance regulation and transparency in the lottery sector. The licensed operators can run the NLA's 5/90 Game, soon transitioning to Point of Sale terminals. They are also permitted to report illegal operators. NLA Chairman Gary Nimako emphasized the importance of safeguarding legitimate businesses and combating unauthorized activities.
