Jeep reduces Avenger electric vehicle price by up to $4,000 for Australian market debut.
Jeep has announced a price reduction of up to $4,000 for its first electric vehicle, the Avenger, ahead of its local debut in Australia. The entry-level Longitude model will now start at $49,990 before on-road costs, positioning it below the $50,000 mark and making it more competitive with other EVs. The price cuts come amid a slowdown in EV sales in Australia, with July figures down 1.5% from the previous year. Jeep has not specified the reasons for the reduction.
