Haffner Energy and IðunnH2 have partnered to develop a 65,000-tonne annual e-SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) facility near Keflavík International Airport in Iceland. Utilizing green hydrogen from Iceland's renewable energy and biogenic carbon from Haffner's gasification technology, the project aims to start production in 2028. It aligns with EU SAF mandates and is set to meet 15% of Iceland's projected jet fuel demand while enhancing energy security and air quality.
