Midea, a Chinese electrical appliance manufacturer valued at $60 billion, is ramping up recruitment of overseas-educated Chinese graduates amid a challenging job market in China, where youth unemployment stands at 13.2%. The company hosted six job fairs in the U.S. in July, attracting around 300 graduates, primarily for technical roles aimed at PhDs. Midea seeks to enhance its talent pool globally, focusing on highly educated individuals for its extensive international operations.
