Alkira Farms, a subsidiary of the U.S. Mormon Church, has acquired the 26,855-hectare Worral Creek agricultural property in Australia's Border Rivers region for over $350 million. The deal, slightly below the expected $400 million, includes seven properties with 65,900 megalitres of water allocations, supporting both irrigated and dryland farming. The property can produce over 75,000 bales of cotton per season and will be managed by Solterra in collaboration with Warakirri.
