A 63-year-old woman died and a man of the same age was injured when a tree fell on their cabin in Moama, NSW, around 3:50 a.m. on September 2. Emergency responders found the woman’s body in the wreckage, while the man was treated for a hand injury and taken to Echuca Hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers. A report will be submitted to the coroner.
