Grace Nuhfer, a 22-year-old student at the University of Akron, is competing in the Paris Paralympics, where she won a silver medal in the 100m butterfly. Nuhfer, who has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and brittle cornea syndrome, began swimming competitively at age seven. She plans to return to her studies after competing in two more events and looks forward to sharing her medal with her teammates, who she credits for her success.
