"The Brutalist," directed by Brady Corbet, premiered at the Venice International Film Festival on September 1, 2024. Starring Adrien Brody as László Tóth, a Hungarian immigrant and architect, the film explores themes of love and trauma as he rebuilds his life after fleeing World War II. Co-starring Felicity Jones, the film received a 12-minute ovation and runs 215 minutes, shot on 70mm film. It competes for the Golden Lion award.
