The U.S. has voiced support for Bangladesh's interim government and aims to enhance bilateral relations across health, education, governance, and the Rohingya crisis. Charge d'Affaires Helen LaFave announced the resumption of consular services in Dhaka to expedite visa processing. The U.S. is the largest donor of humanitarian aid for Rohingyas and has initiated their resettlement in the U.S., while also advocating for livelihood opportunities for them.
