Originally willed to serve as an emergency reserve for Denmark's national collection, the 20,000-piece collection is valued at approximately $72.5 million. It features gold and silver coins from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, with a notable piece being a 1496 noble of King Hans, potentially fetching up to €600,000.
