A rollover accident on Hanover Road in Monroe County, Illinois, resulted in the death of a teenager and serious injuries to another on September 1. A Waterloo police officer spotted the speeding vehicle before the crash. One occupant died at the scene, another was airlifted with life-threatening injuries, and two minors sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Investigations are ongoing, and a candlelight vigil is planned in memory of the deceased.
