Researchers at University of Bonn create secure communication lattice using manipulated Bose-Einstein condensate.
Researchers at the University of Bonn have manipulated a Bose-Einstein condensate, or "super photon," using tiny nano molds to create a lattice structure that could enable secure, tamper-proof communication among multiple parties. By altering the design of reflective surfaces, they established regions where the condensate prefers to stay, allowing it to remain intact while facilitating communication. The study was published in Physical Review Letters.
