A mother and her infant were struck by a car while crossing near the Colorado State Fair on August 31. The incident occurred at the intersection of Beulah Ave. and Small Ave., where the car failed to yield despite traffic stopping for them. The vehicle was moving slowly, resulting in minor injuries for both. They were treated at the scene, and the driver received a citation for failing to yield. All involved are expected to recover.
