Mammoet presents the world's largest land-based crane, the SK6000, with a 6,000-tonne lifting capacity, targeting energy projects.
Mammoet has introduced the SK6000, the world's strongest land-based crane with a lifting capacity of 6,000 tonnes. Designed for large energy projects, it can lift 3,000 tonnes up to 220 meters and features containerization for easy transport. The crane aims to reduce integration times in offshore wind and oil and gas sectors while minimizing carbon impact with its electric power capabilities. Currently in testing in the Netherlands, it is expected to debut on a project later this year.
