A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck Quebec early Sunday morning at 5:43 a.m., with its epicenter near Pierreville in the Centre-du-Québec region.
The quake was felt lightly in Drummondville, Trois-Rivières, and Montreal, located 26 km, 35 km, and 91 km away, respectively.
It occurred at a depth of 18 km, and no damage or injuries have been reported.
The event was confirmed by Natural Resources Canada and the U.S. Geological Survey.
