Researchers at Loughborough University found that deadlift champion Eddie Hall's exceptional strength is partly due to three long leg muscles, known as "guy ropes." These muscles, which stabilize the pelvis and thigh, are 140% to 202% larger in Hall compared to untrained men. His lower body muscle mass is nearly double that of untrained individuals.
