Amari Williams, a 23-year-old from Mississippi, was arrested in Kentwood, Louisiana, on August 26 after a traffic stop by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. Officers discovered over 50 pounds of marijuana, valued at $75,000, in her vehicle. The drugs were found in 47 vacuum-sealed bags. Williams faces charges of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance.
