Geri Taylor, an 81-year-old Connecticut advocate for Alzheimer's awareness, passed away due to complications from the disease. Diagnosed in 2012, she co-founded Voices of Alzheimer's in 2022 with her husband, Jim, to empower and educate those affected by the condition. Taylor's work focused on promoting a positive outlook on life with dementia, inspiring many to embrace joy despite challenges. She was also a breast cancer survivor, entering remission in 2023.
