University of South Florida Bulls defeat Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 48-3 in season opener.
The University of South Florida (USF) Bulls opened their season with a decisive 48-3 victory over the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at Raymond James Stadium. Quarterback Byrum Brown threw for 152 yards and contributed a rushing touchdown, while Kelley Joiner led with 78 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Bulls, now 1-0, will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in their next game on Saturday at 7:00 PM in Tuscaloosa.
