5th seed Medvedev beats Cobolli, reaches fourth round for 6th straight year; next faces Borges.
Daniil Medvedev, the fifth seed and former US Open champion, defeated Flavio Cobolli 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 to reach the fourth round for the sixth consecutive year. Medvedev faced challenges from the 22-year-old Italian but held strong, particularly in the third set. He will next compete against Portugal's Nuno Borges, having previously beaten him at the Australian Open. Medvedev is the only former champion left in the tournament after Djokovic and Alcaraz's exits.
