A man has been charged with the murder of police officer Mohammad Abu Askar and resisting arrest following a hit-and-run in Irbid. Abu Askar was killed while attempting a traffic stop. Investigators identified the driver and four others, who were arrested in Amman. The driver confessed to intentionally hitting the officer. A passenger faces charges of complicity in murder and resisting arrest. Both suspects are detained for 15 days pending further investigation.
