A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Bay of Bengal on Sunday morning at 09:12 am local time, with an epicenter at a depth of 10 km, according to the National Centre for Seismology. Additionally, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Noklak, Nagaland, around 3:36 am, also at a depth of 10 km. No casualties or significant damage have been reported from either quake.
