Students from Vincentia High School in NSW, Australia, have published two bilingual books in the Indigenous language, Dhurga.
The anthology, "Ngayawanj bagan-nggul, ngayawanj barra barra-nggul (We belong to the land, we belong to the sea)," features poems and stories crafted during workshops with authors Kirli Saunders and Jaz Corr.
The books will launch on Indigenous Literacy Day, aiming to promote and preserve the Dhurga language and culture in education.
