Downtown Rockford's first Starbucks is set to open in a renovated Art Deco building, housing another business on the ground floor and loft office spaces on the upper floors. The new location aims to ease traffic for nearby Starbucks branches and improve punctuality for downtown residents. Urban Equity Properties, led by CEO Justin Fern, has spearheaded the redevelopment project. A specific opening date has not yet been announced.
