Missouri judge reinstates Osage River Gaming casino proposal, set to appear on November ballot.

Missouri judge rules new casino proposal, initially rejected for insufficient signatures, to appear on November ballot. The Osage River Gaming and Convention Committee's proposed casino near Lake of the Ozarks would amend the state constitution to allow a casino along the Osage River and override a state law limiting Missouri to 13 licensed casinos. If approved, the project is expected to generate $2.1 million in annual admission fees and approximately $14.3 million in annual gaming tax revenue, supporting over 700 new jobs in the area.
