Melbourne Supreme Court rules AGPC must pay $2.84m in damages for misleading advice on cancelled Robbie Williams concert during 2020 Formula One event.

A Melbourne Supreme Court ruled in favor of World Touring Melbourne, ordering the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) to pay $2.84 million in damages for misleading advice on a cancelled Robbie Williams concert during the 2020 Formula One event at Melbourne's Albert Park. The AGPC had claimed that Victoria's then-chief health officer, Brett Sutton, advised against the concert, but the court found no such advice was given. The concert and Formula One event were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
