Aerospace and defense company RTX Corp will pay a $200M fine to settle allegations of violating export laws, including exchanging data and products with prohibited countries like China. The fine arises from RTX's failure to abide by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations by poorly classifying and controlling exports of defense articles. As part of the settlement, RTX will establish a compliance program and commit to regular reporting to the U.S. government on its export-related activities.
