Ottawa police seek public help to identify a suspect who allegedly tried to assault a 14-year-old girl on 27 August near Princess Louise Drive and Thurlow Street. The suspect, a tall, thin Black male with short dreadlocks, grabbed the girl from behind, covered her mouth, and attempted to pull her back. She managed to escape unharmed. The police remind parents to teach their children safety rules and what to do when approached by a stranger.
