54-year-old Fogle arrested, charged with murder of 51-year-old Whiteside; remains found in backyard.
54-year-old Sheridan Dirk Fogle has been arrested and charged with the murder of 51-year-old Penni Whiteside, who went missing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2022. Whiteside's remains were found buried in her backyard under a firepit after a search warrant was issued. Fogle was living with Whiteside at the time of her disappearance. The Horry County Coroner's Office has not released the cause of death, and the case is ongoing.
