3 suspects, Khonesavana Maylnn Padgett, Canaan Isah Dallas Owens, and John Tharpe, were arrested for manufacturing & distributing counterfeit $20 bills in Putnam & Cumberland counties. A search at a Monterey hotel revealed thousands of dollars in counterfeit bills, a computer, special paper, ink, and a guide on counterfeit money production. Additional charges are pending in multiple jurisdictions, and the suspects are currently in custody for the alleged crimes.
