Built by SEPCOIII Electric Power Co., Ltd., it's expected to supply 480 GWh of electricity annually, providing power to 200,000 households. The project, part of South Africa's renewable energy procurement program, has created over 600 direct jobs for the local community and deepens energy cooperation between China and South Africa, with Chinese companies actively participating in South Africa's renewable energy sector.
