Schiphol Airport plans a €6bn ($6.7bn) investment by 2029 to improve infrastructure and meet passenger service standards.

Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam plans a €6 billion ($6.7 billion) investment by 2029, following an earlier €3 billion plan for 2024-2027. The CEO, Pieter van Oord, says improvements are needed to meet passenger service standards. The airport expects 65-68 million passengers in 2024, up from previous restrictions due to noise concerns. The investment will improve infrastructure, including at Pier C, the baggage basement, climate-control system, escalators, aircraft stands, taxiways, and ongoing Pier A project.
