French spirits giant Pernod Ricard reported a 1% decline in full-year organic sales for the year ending June 30th, 2024, as it managed to offset issues in its key US and Chinese markets. Net sales in the US fell by 9% and there was a 10% drop in China, but most other markets experienced a recovery in volumes during the second half of the year, with decent growth in key regions like India. Pernod Ricard's profit from recurring operations grew 1.5% well ahead of estimates. The company remains confident it can achieve around 7% organic net sales growth in the medium term.
