On August 29th, Pueblo police responded to a barricaded suspect situation during a home burglary. Officers arrested Carlos Rivera on warrants for failure to comply with drugs, community corrections, and a restraining order violation. Rivera had initially shut the door on officers, but later surrendered. The homeowner chose not to press charges against Rivera and a 24-year-old man found in the house, Justin Arellano.
