Yemen's Houthi group allows tugboats to tow burning oil tanker MV SOUNION to Eritrea for rescue.

Yemen's Houthi group has agreed to let tugboats tow the burning oil tanker MV SOUNION, which they attacked in the Red Sea, to Eritrea for rescue operations. The tanker, carrying 150,000 tonnes of crude oil, has been on fire since August 23 after being attacked off the Houthi-controlled Yemeni port city of Hodeidah. The decision to allow the rescue operation was reportedly made after negotiations with EU ambassadors in Muscat.
