20-year-old endangered siamang Stewey, Omaha zoo ambassador and mother, passes away.

20-year-old female siamang Stewey, a fixture at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, has passed away. Stewey, an endangered primate species, played a significant role as an ambassador for her species and mother to her 6-year-old daughter, Killian. She is survived by her male companion, Joey, and her caretakers and fellow siamangs will miss her presence.
