Supermicro has announced new X14 server platforms featuring upgrades such as the Intel® Xeon® 6900 series processors, next-generation GPUs, upgraded memory, 400GbE networking, and direct-to-chip liquid cooling. The X14 systems are designed for AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and critical enterprise workloads, offering support for up to 256 performance cores (P-cores) per node and memory support for MRDIMMs at 8800MT/s. These enhancements aim to maximize performance for compute-intensive workloads and applications, accelerating AI and compute tasks, and significantly reducing the time and cost of large-scale AI training, high-performance computing, and complex data analytics tasks.
