Sainsbury's plans to acquire 10 Homebase leasehold stores, investing around £130m, to create around 1,000 new roles. The deal will convert Homebase stores in locations including Omagh, Northern Ireland, and Derry, and is expected to open from summer 2025. This expansion will allow nearly 400,000 more people to be within a 10-minute drive of a Sainsbury's supermarket.
