A collision between a Riverside County Sheriff's deputy's patrol vehicle and a Toyota Camry in Mead Valley left the deputy and two car occupants injured on August 27th. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the incident, which occurred around 9:51 pm at the intersection of Brown and Oakwood streets. The deputy suffered minor injuries, while the Toyota occupants sustained moderate to major injuries. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the crash.
